    Mack is always working hard to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Whether it’s new materials such as stronger tensile steel, or newer designs in our hydraulic systems we are constantly striving for improvements. Our goal is to supply our customers with the absolute optimal piece of equipment. We look good when we make our customers look good.

    We’ve been busy recently with a new design for a single line mechanical grapple. OPTAG-600-5. We built this grapple to handle Anode Butts. You can watch this grapple operating on our video page.

    We also have a new design for our standard self-contained electric hydraulic log grapples. We’ve modified our hydraulic system to incorporate a flooded pump system. We’ve moved the hydraulic reservoir, which allows our pump to constantly be flooded with oil. This eliminates loss of pump prime and reduces the possibility of pump cavitation.

    Don’t forget that we recondition all models of grapples and clamshell buckets no matter who the manufacturer is. Many times it’s hard to tell the difference between a new grapple or clamshell bucket and a reconditioned grapple or clamshell bucket.

    Remember, your reconditioned grapple or clamshell bucket carries the same warranty as our new grapples and clamshell buckets.
